Me, and My Old Lady
The character, "Cheech", has got to be
one of the great on-screen romantics of all time. Though his style is
not as polished, he rates right up there with Gomez Adams, in my
book. It's not surprising that a man of passion is also a talented
singer/songwriter with such songs as, "Mexican Americans", and,
"Me and My Old Lady", to his credit.
It's not every song that can reach right
out and speak to me the way "Me and My Old Lady" does.
We got
outside in the Texas Hill Country where we, along with our friend,
Christine, camped at Kerrville-Schreiner Park, at Kerrville, and rode
the roads called the Three Sisters. Read about it at Rides and Tales. ← Photograph by Christine van G, of Green Bay WI. |
